AROUND
This is FINLAND MISSION VIIKO....those outlying wards and branches. We have lots of great folks here this week.....most of who we remember and know! That is a wonderful feeling. Sisar Hämäläinen from the Lappenranta Ward sent me some flowers because I made her a cross stitch bookmark. Bless her heart! She is so sweet. And it is a beautiful WHITE flower.
This morning we happened to notice the thermometer again before walking up to the temple. I think we need to just quit 'looking'! This is a FRIGID couple of weeks we are having. I call it a 'nostril-sticking' kind of cold.
The days are starting to get longer now....more sunlight. That is good. As we got to the top of the steps we looked back toward the asuntola at a KAUNIS (beautiful) SUNRISE! And it was only 7:45 a.m.
A wider view of the sky......
and as we walked back home after our morning shift.....
beautiful mounds of fluffy white stuff everywhere!!
Wonderful weeks so far......and the temple will close for the two-week maintenance closure at the end of the day on Saturday.
