All in the same weekend! A great weekend!!
We woke up this morning to what seemed like a very BRIGHT sky.....at least it was bright peeking around our curtain.
Then when we actually looked out, we were FOGGED in. It was so pretty!! You can almost see the temple in the fog.
We watched General Conference on our computers (yes, both of them!) on Saturday. We will do the same thing today, Sunday. It basically takes TWO COMPUTERS to get ONE airing! I guess with over 13 million members, and so many of us trying to get on the computers at the same time to watch, it creates a bit of a challenge! What we have seen and heard so far has been wonderful. Very important messages 'just for us'!!
And around the asuntola, we are celebrating EASTER in a regular way I suppose! This EASTER TREE was found outside the PECIULIUS apartment (they are from Lithuania you may recall).
And Sisar Peciuliene was at our door early with handmade Easter Eggs....still warm!! She was so on the ball.
I finally got my act together and got peanut butter cookies, with nuts and chocolate chips, made and delivered to all of the missionaries! (I might add that the peanut butter was some Becky and David sent us and the chocolate chips and chopped pecans were sent to us by Shirley Cooper, Wayne's nurse in his medical practice)
I will fix a little 'canned' ham for lunch today. Don't know how that will work out since food over here is NOT like what we find at home in America. Oh well.....we will give it the all-Americn (I mean all-Finnish) try!
