Our TWO-WEEK break has begun!

We headed by train up to Rovaniemi and to Santa Claus Village! We took a train from Espoo to Helsinki where we got the long-distance train. Notice the Ernst & Young Sign atop the building in the background! David should come here to work so we could see them!

The double-decker train was virtually empty except one or two other people on it. It was a wonderful train ride. It was a very long one however. We did not arrive in Rovaniemi until about 9:00 p.m., having left Helsinki at 10:00 a.m.

We checked into the City Hotel in Rovaniemi and were met by this friendly guy on the elevator! They have wonderful 'pictures' in both elevators and on all levels of each floor landing. We are very happy to be here and look forward to a fun-filled couple of days!
