PERFECT WEEK

(They are all perfect.....always so good!)

This has been HELSINKI STAKE TEMPLE VIIKO. There have been many familiar faces....so good to see all of them! The last couple of days we have had a group of saints from Russia....St. Petersburg and Viborg. It is so good to have them here.

After the temple we headed over to the HAAGA CHAPEL to attend the adult session of Stake Conference. Our visiting area authority was ELDER CARLOS from Spain. He gave an excellent talk. And it was wonderful to have the married son of Veli ja Sisar Voutilainen be the translator for Elder Carlos. WOW he did a great job.....and his first time too!

A big holiday today in Finland......PYHÄINENPÄIVÄ (All Saints Day). All the stores are closed. Everyone takes this holiday very seriously. The family visit graves of loved ones and put candles on those graves. It is very impressive to visit the graveyards.

We visited this same graveyard last year and it was just as cold then as it was tonight.

We had a group missionary picture taken.

We bought candles (one per missionary couple) to put on a grave of our choice. I picked this one because it didn't have any candles on it. It looked a little 'lonely'.

What a great ending to a great week. We can not imagine having to go home in just 3 short weeks.....our original release date. Thank goodness we have another 5 months. We hope those will be a good as the past 18 months have been!!
