We flew down to GERMANY with the kids.....

It was a very early flight but it was GREAT to see Germany again......it is like HOME!

On our way to NESSELWANG we stopped in GARMISH to have lunch and enjoy the beautiful view of the ALPS....

Then we stopped in OBERAMMERGAU where the Passion Play is being presented this year. It is only presented every 10 years. This IS the year.....unfortunately, we were unable to get tickets and really didn't have the time to go see it either. Being with FAMILY was more important on this trip....maybe in 2020!

We may our way on down to NESSELWANG by way of going through AUSTRIA. It was soooo good to see TRAUDEL again. We stayed with her (she has a bed and breakfast). We have stayed with her in the past and we love staying there.

AND.....I think she was happy to see us.......

We walked around Nesselwang....and found this cool 'statue-bench'.....don't remember seeing this one before. Made for a good picture.

We went to the VIESCHEID activity under the BIG TENT on Wednesday night. And some of the family joined us for that.....

and we loved those BIG ALPINE HORNS!!! Just awesome....the whole program was great and so fun!!!

What a great start to our trip here to Germany!!! More to come.......
