FINISHING UP OUR
QUIK TRIP TO
STOCKHOLM, SWEDEN.....
We were able to attend the temple this morning.....arrived there at about 8:15 a.m.
It was a beautiful sunny day.....a bit on the 'crisp' side....but it is fall and that is to be expected.
The temple grounds are very well manicured. Very unique.
After attending the 9:00 a.m. Norwegian Session (because this is Norwegian Week for the Swedes) we were able to talk to several of the missionary couples and 'compare' notes. That was fun. We were able to have a fellow temple-goer take a picture of us.
And, like I said, the grounds are just beautiful.
Worked our way back up to Stockholm, by train, where we caught the metro (tube) to a bus and got on our Ferry Cruise Ship back for Helsinki.
The 'drive' out of Stockholm reminded us of a whirlwind trip this time.....but a fun one nonetheless. We have even picked out a couple of spots we would like to visit should we have the chance to come back before the end of our mission.
The turning of the leaves reminded us that FALL is here.....should be a pretty sight should we be back this way anytime soon......
There are about 60,000 or more little islands that 'dot' the ARCHIPELAGO in and out of Sweden
There was definitely a LOT of boat traffic as well.....
Our arrival back to our home in Espoo Wednesday morning will be good timing for us to get ready for Jonathan and Tina and Steven and Elinn's arrival on Thursday noon. We are very excited to have them here for 2 weeks.
